RADAR Intelligence

See the work
before it reaches a portal.

A Weekly Intelligence Report for your trade and your patch: the live tenders worth your time, the work sitting where you would never look, and the contracts that never go out to tender at all. From £149 a month.

By the time a tender reaches a national portal, everyone you compete with is reading the same page on the same morning.

The portals are not the problem. Being one of forty firms who found out at the same moment is the problem. RADAR watches the layers underneath: the regional sites most contractors never check, the committee papers where decisions are recorded before anything is advertised, and the awards that quietly reset a market for the next five years.

Why a keyword alert is not enough

Portal alerts tell you a document exists. They do not tell you whether it is worth your time, what you need to hold to qualify, which route it is being let through, or who to speak to. So the alerts pile up unread, and the one that mattered is lost among the ones that never did.

RADAR does the reading. Every entry in your report has already been filtered for your trade and your region, checked against what you can actually bid for, and written up so you can act on it in two minutes or decide in ten seconds that you will not.

What is in every report

Four layers, every week, in one email you can read before your first coffee.

01 · The advertised work, made usable

Yes, RADAR watches the national portals every day. The difference is what reaches you: a filtered feed for your trade where every opportunity answers the questions that matter - what it is, how to bid and through which route, what you need to hold to qualify, who to talk to by name, and when it closes. Two minutes to read. No keyword dump.

02 · The work hidden on regional portals

Below-threshold contracts don't have to appear on the national feeds - so they don't. They sit on dozens of regional e-sourcing portals, visible only to those already watching that exact buyer. RADAR sweeps them: it surfaced a £2.5m city-wide contract whose national record said only "below threshold".

03 · The work that never goes out to tender

Direct awards and urgency contracts skip the portals entirely - but they can't skip governance. RADAR reads the published cabinet papers, officer decision notices and forward plans every week. A multimillion-pound contract awarded under urgency powers was never tendered and never will be; RADAR flagged it from the published papers weeks in advance.

04 · Who holds what, and when it ends

Every award RADAR captures - advertised or not - goes into a live register of who holds what: hundreds of award records and counting, with contract end dates where published. New winners need delivery capacity the day they sign. Expiring contracts are tomorrow's re-tenders - and RADAR does the expiry arithmetic. One council's £6.9m of contracts ends in March 2027 with 85% of the work unfinished; that re-procurement is a calendar entry, not a prediction.

Coverage: United Kingdom

RADAR monitors national tender and award notices across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland every day. The deeper layers are UK-wide too: regional portals, committee papers and our FOI demand programme.

Every claim in a RADAR report carries a number, a date and a source you can check.
